Operational installation of composite covers is done the same as cast-iron covers, but observance of the following points during the installation is necessary:

The installation surface of the cover’s coil should be level and its underlying surface should be previously compacted and should be leveled by cement with the right grading (the levelness of coil’s touching surface is an essential principle).

Composite coils act as protectors and have the role of separators and the coil should be placed on the manhole in way that it would transfer the whole load to the surrounding soil. In other words, the bottom of the coil’s inner edges and the place of cover’s installation should be completely on the bricklaying around the opening of manhole or in case of using concrete slab, should be placed exactly on the concrete slab.  The coil or frame of the cover should be completely aligned with the manhole’s opening and the coil should not be inclined to a side. After installing the coil, secondary controlling of the coil’s levelness is essential.

After observing the said points and making sure of the stability of the coil, we proceed to the cement laying around the steps surface such as the coil until its levelness with the top point of cover’s frame. After the setting and full stability of the coil, the cover is placed on the edge of the rim from one side and with a slight push, the cover gets in its place. In addition to this, the cover could be picked by a special wrench and placed on the opening of the rim (the second method increases the life span of the product). Throwing the cover’s lid vertically in order to be placed in the coil should be avoided.

To remove the valve from its location and operation, place a special wrench in the holes inserted on the valve and remove it vertically from the place.
